Exhausted

 Hi Professor,

Anne and I arrived as expected. Unexpectedly, our apartment was empty; most of the furniture was gone except for the table and chairs. Fortunately, the device is much too massive to move, and it's still here. We're going to run a diagnostic to confirm it's still in perfect order before we risk another jump. It's only a matter of time before the new occupants arrive. Hopefully, they can be bought just like Marina was.

In the meantime, We'll hack into the servers and install the tracking nodes to make our life easier. This way, we'll know the very moment NASA detects it tomorrow. Tonight, we're just going to grab some grub and head back upstairs. Tomorrow, we need to buy another bed. Anne's pissed!

Twitter

 Hi Professor,

If you remember, Twitter was a social media web site that was popular for thirty years before it was finally pushed out by Edgemount 2.0. It's currently in the mid-political phase, and it's annoying as hell. You wouldn't believe how idiotic many posted ideas are. I've even chimed in with some goofiness and little clues about the future, but they're mostly ignored. Honestly, I expected as much. I'm just having a little fun before the next event. People here are steadfast their views and will not tolerate evidence that challenges their belief system. It's a shame really. There are actual groups dedicated to Trump, even though he has stated, more than once, how little use he has for the working class. Even though his criminality is well-documented, they fall over themselves to worship him. I'm embarrassed for them. It's laughable. I'm looking forward to the trial next year.

I don't remember the history lesson on the UFO revealing in class, because it didn't happen. We got that one wrong. I'm sending detailed analysis over the secondary frequency (check C52 - there's solar activity this month. I don't want the transmission garbled. I'm including a surprise.) Basically, Naki only declassified what was already leaked. No real news.

There was a close call, and I admit that it was my fault. Last month, I offered a neighborhood girl peanuts. (They used to come in a bag as a snack. Long story.) It turns out she was allergic. Thankfully, Anne was meeting me and was only a moment away. She saved her. We ran a check on her and discovered that the girl will give birth to Alita Cortez! Yes, the very same agent that interrogated Nairi in 2057! Can you believe that? Anne couldn't calm me down until she spilled it that you knew it would happen. I get it, Professor. I get that things have to play out, but I can certainly do my job with proper foreknowledge. That's what you trained me for. A little bit of warning next time, okay?

The Entity is quiet. No movement, no dimensional scans, not even basic scanning detected. Nada. Tomorrow morning, we're jumping to June, 21, 2022. That's when the James Webb Space telescope becomes operational. It detects the Entity, but it's kept quiet. The insurrection hearings should be ongoing. Ah, those were fun times.

Testing and General Maintenance

Hello Professor,

During our time between events, Anne and I decided not to jump, but instead, caught up on some device alignment. We measured the precise location and discovered a change in Earth's wobble. We weren't surprised. There were a few earthquakes last month, and two volcanos are redistributing the center of mass somewhat, but nothing that would pose a risk for traveling. Still, a micron is a micron, right? I can hear your voice in my head: precision matters, Cathryn

Other than maintenance, there's nothing to report. There's a lull in the pandemic, and many are venturing out. I can't say I blame them. The new strain doesn't arrive here until May. Even Anne and I are roaming the parks, trying to stay out of trouble.

Remember Space X? Well, they're doing another text; they're moving along. I wonder what'll happen! (ha)

Covid 2021

Hi Professor,

The new strains of Covid are just starting to spread. Anne and I are fully immunized, so there's no chance of infection. We're wearing these masks to blend in. You know the kind medical professionals used to wear way back when? Yep, those. They're almost through it. We're interviewing some people in the park tomorrow. I wonder what they think.

The Entity is long gone, as expected. To be sure, we measured the dimensional ratios, and there were no gravity wells detected anywhere in the solar system. All is well. However, there has been a series of disappearances throughout Brazil, so we may pop down to investigate. Maybe they left a small group and they're up to their old games again. Or, maybe they're simply victims of the virus and not properly recorded. There's nothing in the record, nor was there anything useful in the archive about 2021. Again, if we discover any discrepancies, we'll make the notation, as instructed.

The neighborhood hasn't changed much in six years. Marina was pleased to see us. Or, she's thrilled to win some more small lotteries. She keeps the one room unoccupied for us, so I guess it's fair. She has a girlfriend now, and Marina confided our existence to her. Asia thought she was nuts when Marina told her that time travelers occasionally pops into the room. Then we arrived! They're a cute couple. The four of us are going out for pizza tonight. If there's one thing I take advantage of when we're here, is original pizza. The cheese is real!!!

That's it for now. As always, we'll check the frequency (AFEo2) for any updates.

We Jumped Again

Greetings Professor.  The Entity has moved away from its last position, so Anne and I jumped to late 2015 to ready ourselves for the next series of events. Again, the Entity is here and taking humans without their consent. We haven't interviewed any yet, but we're sweeping the populace for alterations in their dimensional specs. Of course, we'll continue our reports.
Concerning our jump; I know we shouldn't have, but I do want to get home before I'm forty. We knew it would be quiet for three years, so we skipped it. Anne and I deemed the risk acceptable. Forgive me. The manager we paid to hold our studio died, but he apparently convinced his daughter Marina to keep our space vacant. It took convincing, but currency solved our dilemma. Marina is in her twenties and way too curious. She's kind, smart and understands the concepts of time paradoxes.
There are new buildings under construction everywhere. Charles has moved away. Contact us through the alternate frequency Eo2. No security concerns, just a lot of interference in some of the others, and AFEo2 is higher than anything perceptible with the current tech, and thus, above the noise.
Next year is the election. I can't believe America will vote in a moron. We're going to jump to early 2021, when the upcoming pandemic starts to wane. This should be fun.

Arrived Safely

Hello Professor.

Just a quick note to let you know we've arrived undetected again. The manager of the building was surprised to see us again. He freaked out when he saw how many years I had aged in the four months - his time - we've been gone. He believes me now. He won't be a problem, he mysteriously won a smaller lottery prize. You were right. Money solves everything.

The past hasn't changed much, (I knew you'd like that) and we are back before the next wave of events begin. I will recording everything as instructed and depart before it happens. Anne is already helping the locals with their ailments, she cannot help herself.

The Entity is still where it was in January when we left. Motionless and silent. It's eerie.

Departure

This experiment will be over soon, and I'm glad. There are too many morons populating this planet for society to flourish like it should. What a shame. It'll be a pleasure to finally rid the stink of Earth from me.

All the best.
