Disappearances

The record shows a series of disappearances recorded throughout the world. I've spent the last few weeks analyzing the dimensional data and it seems the Entity has been "borrowing" hundreds of humans for periods ranging from a day to a little more than a week. At least nine have not yet returned. My guess is that they didn't survive the tests. The numbers can be much higher. I'm only including the cases where dimensional blurring was present directly overhead, just to be sure. Two were locally located. Anne and I were able to speak to one of them.

A young woman of 27 I'll call Evelyn was last seen outside a dance club on West 12th street. She reappeared four days later in Times Square, of all places. The woman made strange claims to Police about being abducted, but they dismissed her tale as a fantasy from a party girl. She was still under the effects of alcohol when they questioned her.

When we interviewed her, she reported meeting a tall man in an overcoat and a hat. He touched her arm and was instantly transported to Times Square. It was during her conversation with the desk sergeant that she discovered about 90 hours had elapsed.

Anne read her thoughts to confirm she was telling the truth. She would not allow Anne to delve deeper into her mind, so no confirmation of Entity involvement exists, although this kind of mind-sweeping is way beyond anything even we're capable of. As much as we wanted to record her experience, we had to respect her wishes. Perhaps in the future, she'll require closure and seek Anne out. I hope we're still here to assist her.

FYI: There was a moderate earthquake last month along the east coast. It was a natural occurrence. No Entity involvement detected.
